Hi Anjali,
I just checked into your blog for the first time in awhile, and just wanted to say that I can really relate to the feelings you express in your post on being American-Indian (or...?) I experienced much of the same in Nepal, and what was most heart-breaking for me, maybe even more than the people I met who were coping with disability and leprosy, were the young healthy boys and girls who were reaching adulthood and expressing a lack of options in what they imagined their lives could be. We are at least privileged enough to feel that we have the right to DREAM of doing whatever we want, or being whatever we want to be. There are many others in the world for whom even the act of dreaming is an unimaginable luxury... unattainable in their lifetime.
